This was my first MMORPG and I honestly did not know what to expect. First week of playing and I knew I had to buy the expansion packs already. There's just so much content to enjoy — the world exploration, the mounts, side quests, and voiced dialogues, to name a few. The in-game world, Tyria, is teeming with so much life, from the NPCS to the overworld enemies. On top of that, the community is very active and helpful especially to beginners like me.
However, in terms of class progression and combat system, they are not too elaborate in a way that one playstyle will sometimes suffice to survive through the game. Plus, the story, which I personally think is not the main selling point of GW2, did not connect to me as much. However, all the other feats I mentioned makes up for this.
Overall, I really like how the game respects my time, regardless how busy I am doing adult things in my 9 to 5.
