I'm glad Game Freak did SOMETHING different, but I just couldn't get into this one; the new mechanics were appreciated, but it felt like much of the same at its core, and I could tell by hour 5 that I'd get bored midway through, so I stopped. It's like they took one step forward on fixing pokemon but still have about 50 or so steps before it doesn't suck anymore. The side-quest requests just felt like busywork to me.

Also graphics, specifically, were terrible. Especially coming from a AAA open-world game like Cyberpunk or Death Stranding to green-brown diarrhea that is the land of Hisui.

This game could be a good stepping stone toward an excellent current-gen Pokemon game, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
