In certain situations, it seems like DS developers try a bit harder than their console counterparts. In this situation, I'm not sure whether it was to accommodate for the inferior hardware or simply to make the game stand out in order to justify buying it a second time. Whatever the case may be, they definitely did well to add quite a bit of content via story mode and minigames. Not the worst title in the series by a long-shot.
