Picross games are always rather niche to began with, but I find them to be very soothing from time to time. The fact we got a Zelda Picross, let alone, a Twilight Princess one is kinda crazy, and makes Twilight Princess the Zelda game with the most spin offs oddly enough.

As for this little Picto adventure, the game comes with a standard Picross set of puzzles based on Twilight Princess characters and scenes. The game also has a new mode called Mega Picross that uses the same puzzles from the Picross section, but with different numbering that can make them easier or more difficult pending how well you actually understand it. Finally we have Micross, a sort of extra large picross that features 1 big picture from a combined amount of Picrosses. Micross was by far the coolest part of this game and something that I hope they do more of with other picross games as it's really just trying to solve the whole thing with a bunch of 10 x 10 puzzles that don't take much brain power and are more about testing how fast you can get it done.

For essentially a free puzzle game, Twilight Princess Picross gives you a lot for your club nintendo coins, and it's something that makes me want to have more Nintendo based franchises touch the picross genre. It is sad that miiverse functions are dead, but the game plays well enough with out it, and uses the majority of Twilight Princess's lovely soundtrack. If you ever needed a calming puzzle game to sit down and play, this is a great start.
