it's a fine puzzle game. lots of the early puzzles are just "oh what if i changed the color so that i can walk through this wall" etc. and are very easy, but the last several are well made and make you think without being overly difficult.

an alarmingly high amount of puzzles in this game have timing based solutions, which is fine for some things, but it just didn't really feel right for me in this game. "oh no the color i have selected makes the platform i'm going to land on disappear! i better change the color!" happens constantly during the midpoint of the game and feels like pointless fluff because all the good puzzles were delegated to the end of the game.

the "story" elements were pretty pointless to me though, and it doesn't really seem like it had a real place in a game like this. the voice acting they had was actually pretty good, and i think the VAs did a very good job with the task they were given, i just didn't care. additionally, the mail dialogue is essentially read to you in a boring pointless hallway that you jump up staircases and climb ladders in the most boring way possible with no interesting platforming whatsoever. i'm pretty sure these sections are just there to fill the whole length of the reading "cutscene" because they always finish right about the time to get to the end of the hallway, but if you want me to care about your story, it should be interesting and not just because it's literally the only thing happening during the game at that point.

fine game, nothing special. not interested in going for 100% because it seems tedious going back through the game without a level select (afaik) just to find hidden collectibles.
