i checked this game out when the 2017 Prey came out because people were gassing this and shitting on that and i was so disappointed. The 2017 one and this one are very different genre-wise and thematically which took gamers a few years to figure out. this game, separated from the 2017 one, had some mechanics which were cool for a while and premise of the story IS good, but the overall presentation was lacking for me. i do miss the mid 2000s visuals of games like this
