okay well, as always, my background:

1. Played first Stalker when I was a kid and loved it
2. Knew that this one is considered to be the best one

Well, the game is... A stalker game. Amazing atmosphere, the graphics are amazing for the vibe of the game, the shooting is quite good, and the story is surprisingly good

What I loved about the 1 Stalker were the vibes and immersion. Sadly, I didn't quite experience it here. And I don't think it's the fault of the game, but just me not playing it in the mood. The game does the atmosphere quite well: graphics, sounds, stories from other stalkers, environments, and some scary labs. But.... It kinda didn't feel the same. Also, I can't be immersed in 1st person games. Feel like I lost this ability

And if you are not immersed, then this game doesn't have a lot to offer. You probably won't play this game for the story, especially if you haven't played the previous ones. The shooting is okay, but obsly there are better games for that.

So yeah, the game is good, but you have to immerse yourself in order to enjoy it.

Also holy shit this weight limit, I forgot how strict it is.
