Let's start that I don't like collectathones and 3d platformers(and 2d also but more tolerable), but I do like sponge bob and wanted to play some "old style game" so I decided to try something "new" for me with this game

And... It's aight. I did have my enjoyment. It was kinda only the first couple of hours, the sounds of jumping, the silly plot, and non-modern AAA bullshit, it all felt like home, like good ol days

But after some time the feelings go away and u r left with the game 1vs1. And it kinda feels tedious, but IK that it's my problem since I don't like this genre. You don't have to complete the levels, you can even skip some of them, you just need to collect 75 spatulas. Every level has a few spatulas that you get by just playing the level, and another few optional ones, and some of them even require you to backtrack after you get certain abilities.
There are also other collectibles, but the game is about getting these spatulas. And it works pretty well, you decide what to get, you can get more spatulas on one level, get less on another, and so on...
And it's kinda good, feels like old games(cuz it is), so I liked that

The levels, well, some of them are really good and remind you a lot about the show with all the locations and such, but some of them are just boring and annoying. But overall there are more good levels than bad ones.

There are 3 characters: bob, Patrick, and sandy. They all play differently to some degree. They are also bosses, but they are way too easy so idc

Also, IK that I suck at platformers, but holy shit, this game be hard sometimes???? Like i was losing my shit at some of the slides n in the dream world

The jokes and dialogues... Meh, they get old pretty quickly, non-funny, kinda not in the mood of the show, and by the end of the game I was just skipping them altogether.

Anyway, cool game, not my style, but it was nice to explore some genres that I don't like so I'm glad that this game exists
