An all around addictive puzzle-breakout game that has no right to be as gorgeous, well-designed, and hilariously badly translated as it was. This game was one of the big definers of our childhood art-wise, and I don't think we'd be quite on the path we are without it having been there. Forever fondly beloved, even if we didn't understand a single thing going on.

Why would you make a game where you're dependant on the AI to win, and have terrible AI, driving off cliffs etc.
On Hard and Expert modes, it's almost impossible to win because your teammates are useless and you can't carry them.
The game feels cheaply made, with pretty poor presentation, basic models, and a fair few bugs and glitches
With weak power-ups and slow racing, there are far better options for kart-racers, including this games predecessor
