This might be one of the prettiest games around. There are so many moments where the audio and visuals come together and create truly beautiful or even haunting moments.

Outside it sounding and looking beautiful the defense focused gameplay is so polished and smooth that I never felt that game was being cheap with it's challenge but instead it was just me being outplayed. This game also might have now my favorite boss fight in the genre. I also really appreciated that every new area had its own gameplay gimmicks or something outside the visuals that made it unique.

On the story side I was hooked almost from the beginning as it's clear Yi knows more than the player and this story of revenge has much more depth with its moral questions. It also balances nicely with the lighthearted moments that gets you invested in the characters and the world. I also really enjoyed how much cultural influence there are in every aspect of the game.
