Grand Theft Auto V Is a video game that can be considered real life, jokes aside that's what some guys said 11 years ago but this masterpiece by rockstar aged like fine wine over the years, even some games can't beat this game in terms of quality and interaction. How about the story?
I will try to be shorter and not give any major spoilers like my previous review that took way longer to write
Story After a great heist in north yankton our first protagonist is trying to bury his past about crime and continue to live a normal life with his family, changing his ID with a different name and moving to los santos where he can pursue a normal father life, but everything changes after he mets with Franklin Clinton and Trevor Philips.
Trevor used to rob banks with Michael, he was an older friend of his who reminded him of his past in crime.
Franklin in the other hand got to be Michael's right hand and a good friend of him in los santos.
Trevor was helped by wade, a friend of him who knew about Michael real identity and so he figured out to pay him a visit.
Later in the story Trevor finds out how mike betrayed him and brad and kept manipulating Trevor.
Our characters had different antagonists, Franklin had an older gangster by the name of Stretch who was a selfish guy who tried to put Frank in jail.
Trevor had problems with the chinease triad because in one of the early missions with trevor he almost killed a major character in the triad near the meth lab and so for that they kept spying on him.
Michael had problems with the FIB and with Devin Weston.
Mainly with Steven Haines because he was not happy after Mike and the others destroyed the FIB building.
But the main protagonist is Devin Weston, who tried to trick Franklin to kill one of his friends after completing the big score heist, but he mostly had problems with Michael because he was with Solomon a movie star in the game, finding out that Devin wanted to ditch him off but Michael refused to help Devin and so he chased Molly the lawyer of Devin.
Getting her killed in the plane engine by accident, and so Devin had enough and met Frank to tell him the news after he failed to kill Michael's family.
Devastated by the news he had 3 options kill Mike or Trevor or kill Devin and the rest who had problems with the protagonists in the game. I choose the deathwish and so every character had to kill a major antagonist who had problems with them. Lester helped them out in the whole story when it came to heists and assassinations (mainly frank there) but he helped tracking them.
The last remaining was Devin and so one of the characters took the pledge and killed him in his mansion while fighting merryweather guards.
Kidnapping him and meeting with the other protagonists and throwing him off in the ocean. It was done, the three protagonists were set free now, after all the hassle it was done.
Gameplay Personally after I replayed GTA 5 i was still impressed by the world interaction, even when you finished the main storyline you had so much side content fulfilled with missions and new characters, and that's only in the singleplayer in the online you get to meet up with them again.
The beauty of this game and the driving and the weather really created a big atmosphere, the weapons that are similar like max payne 3 or the car customization was pretty huge at the time.
Bonus I wouldn't say that the story was the greatest one, I still prefer GTA 4 because in this one I was distracted but more engaged in the action, to be honest after writing what I remembered about the storyline it must be one of the forgettable stories in series, so yeah this is the review after I REPLAYED this one.
