I should just surface that I rarely, if ever, replay full-on games. Usually, it's too long, and I get barely enough time as is, so why replay anything? I'd rather let it just stay in my head, good times, or bad times. I know that's not everyone's philosophy, but it's mine.

That being said, the replay of Yakuza 0 may have convinced me that it is the best, if not, a top 5 action game of all time. I personally think this game just has so, so much meaningful stuff to do, unlock, and work with, I'm totally comfortable with giving it a perfect 5.

If you'd want more, you can check my previous review, but the TLDR: JRPG-level story with meaningful, tear-jerking moments, the broadness of your average AAA but with activities that don't get nearly as old and are twice as fun, combat that requires a keen eye to change moves regarding each character and boss, and overall, a memorable city, soundtrack, and experience for anyone willing to put their money where their mouth is.

Sega/RGG absolutely cannot miss when they make games like this and I am committed that they are one of the few AAA studios that fucking get what a fun game should be like.
