Red Dead Redemption 2 is a strange game, it combines so many elements like open-world gameplay, side quests, shooting, sneaking, base upgrading and none of it makes it significantly better than other games. However, the world drips realism from every pore. Other travellers ride towards us in stagecoaches or on horseback, people call for help in the wilderness, the small villages and towns are bustling with activity. Not since I played Far Cry 5 has an open world felt so alive. In addition, the characters are fantastically written. So many people in the gang grow on you or cause deep resentment in you. The story is good to okay and surprises with one or two twists. After RDR1, this is another masterpiece that you should definitely have played, although it is a tad too long.
