i do not care about pokemon games. mainly bc i'm wayyy too lazy for rpgs and leveling up and grinding and beating enemies through turns and whatnot. arceus, however, is fun bc it's mostly not about that!!! the bosses are just normal 3d mario bosses even which is great bc i like 3d mario games.

not only i was interested in this game despite it being a pokemon game, it somehow got me to complete the pokedex. something about it just felt right i guess.

i think story-wise it was also a lot more interesting than the other pokemon games that i've tried in the past. actually demystifying what pokemons are, and working with research, and idk it felt a lot more interesting than the "whatever time to become a local champion!!" stuff they pulled off for a long time

anyway congratulations to this game for making me ever so slightly interested in pokemon as a franchise
