+ Essentially an updated and improved Diablo 2. Pretty impressive for a free-to-play game
+ Great variety of character builds and itemization
+ The end-game maps and currency/crafting system are innovative

- Some of the later zones are too big and get tedious
- Suffers from desync/lag issues (as of Apr 2015 when this review was written) and is always online, even in single-player
