+ The roguelike with the most stuff to do... but much of that stuff is weird and/or Japanese. It has property ownership, quests, jobs, world events, multiple cities, numerous random and non-random dungeons, pet training, tradeskills, arenas, and more. That's just the base version; there's also a huge remake, Elona+ (haven't played it, sadly)

± Not a game I care to replay, but I thought it was brilliant the first time around
± Steep learning curve. Grindy near the beginning, but less so later on

- Atrocious pet AI (walks into traps/fire/acid)
- Too many item-damaging monsters
