i can't express enough how much i enjoyed my experience with persona 2 innocent sin. it's taken about 5 years for me to actually get into it - i used to try and watch playthroughs but it never clicked with me despite hearing how good the story is. but still, after all this time i finally took the leap and installed it

and i don't regret it. the story and characters are beautifully written. the themes of which are portrayed wonderfully, and its something i really did end up connecting with. this game isn't afraid to be WEIRD, it has some of the most insane moments of the series and yet at it's core, it has a genuinely heart-wrenching and meaningful narrative. i will say that the gameplay will def put some people off and yeah, it is the weakest part of the game, absolutely, but personally? there were only a few moments where it REALLY bothered me. emulation lessens the blow of this a LOT. if you're like me and don't mind some kinda bland gameplay to get to an amazing story, then i 100% recommend innocent sin.

anyways, eikichi enjoyers rise up.
