I've only played halfway though MGSV:TPP and all of MGSV:GZ, but that was years ago, when it initially came out. I thought that if I wanted to start my Metal Gear adventure, the best way is to play it in order of release.

I played the MSX2 version of the game that's released on GOG. I also played it without any help. I couldn't stop thinking about it and got stuck many, many, many times. It got really hard for me, but I was able to finish the game without any help or a guide! The feeling was extremely rewarding. If you do decide to play this game without any help, and you get stuck, don't give up! Try everything! Read everything carefully! Write down or take screenshots of dialogue if you need to reference it again. And don't forget to save!

This game was amazing! Onto the next MGS game!
