it very clearly hearkens back to those classic Mario Party games, and proves to be a blast. no more annoying motion controls, tons of extremely anger-inducing randomness that destroys friendships, and nostalgic mini games that have seen minor changes to make them more enjoyable today. the biggest issue with the game is the small roster and lack of boards. some free DLC would make this game a huge winner and instant classic in my book
