It's pretty dumb, but the game is fully aware of this and seems pretty well put together for what it is. The platforming is obviously comparable to Getting Over It, and I actually think the controls might be somehow worse in Deepest Sword. But Deepest Sword's short length and level-based design gives it a sense of structure and progression that Getting Over It was severely missing, and this game feels much more playable as a result. I also like how the incremental level design means you end up having to play the same platforming challenges multiple times with different sword lengths; it's a nice touch to have to come up with new ways to beat familiar challenges.

But yeah, at the end of the day... this is just an elaborate dick joke. There's not a lot of content here and the game is easily beaten within 20 minutes; but, y'know, it is free. And it's probably better than you'd expect from its tone and premise.
