this is the first card game that i've properly beaten. it was super fun. the story was very compelling and it made me tear up at the end. it's nice that a silly meta card game made me care so much about the characters.

the arc 1 loop is super satisfying and rewarding. arc 2 gets a little bogged down by all the new decks, but it's still fun. arc 3 i felt was too long with all the branching paths and extra mechanics--it felt like they were stalling for time when they didn't have to do it. i know it's kind of boring on purpose, but at least make it engaging and make it tell a story regardless. that's honestly my only complaint of the game. everything else was great and weird and thoughtfully made.
