I don't come to Call of Duty games expecting too much substance -- just a high budget popcorn shooter. This one definitely satisfied in that aspect, and I was impressed at the surprising variety in the campaign. It wasn't 100% running and gunning, there were a number of unique missions to shake up the formula. That said, it doesn't quite hit the highs of 2019's Modern Warfare (and the armored enemies are quite annoying), but it is still one of the better modern era Call of Duty campaigns.
