I'm continuing to make my way through the Life is Strange series, so I figured I'd play this precursor to Life is Strange 2. I thought that the story was actually quite touching, Dontnod did a great job at making the characters feel realistic within only an hour and a half. There were some genuinely touching moments during the game alongside some fun exploration of what it's like to be a kid again. My understanding is that this game somewhat carries over to Life is Strange 2, but to what degree I'm not 100% sure, so as a standalone its story does end somewhat abruptly. If Life is Strange 2 doesn't explore these characters more, I'll be a little disappointed.
