Jill has more lines in this short, maybe 2 hour dungeon than in the entire base game, it feels like. She might not be saying anything important, but by the gods, she feels human, finally.

The bosses in the dungeon are really fun. Way more fun than anything in the base game, imo, especially the final fight, which I wasn't expecting! The weapon you get from crafting is also so cool, I wish the game had more like these.

Though the fights were more difficult than the final fight in the base game, they were exciting, with more familiar mechanics to me as an FF14 player. I felt like I actually had to do mechanics, rather than just "keep dodging until the mechanic is over". I finally have a reason to play an FF mode run for real—so I can fight the bosses in FF mode!

Only real complaint is that's it. It's just a dungeon, albeit a fun one. Can't recommend it on its own, obviously.
