Perhaps due to playing this sequel before the first instalment, I found The Fractured but Whole to be a distinct, refreshing, and incredibly enjoyable experience. It retains the traditional satirical commentary that is exaggeratedly humorous, complementing a well-crafted turn-based combat system and basic exploration mechanics. I am eagerly looking forward to playing the Stick of Truth, as I simply couldn't get enough of this game.
