I can't believe I'm this late to Silent Hill, but damn. This is probably the scariest game I've played yet, and I'm sure it'll stay up there. Tank controls kinda suck but the atmosphere cultivated by them and the camera angles is super horrifying.

My only real complaint is that everything looks the same, so navigating is a nightmare, especially in that final level. I'm also admittedly not the biggest fan of cult narratives and Dahlia feels a little one-note, but all the details on Cheryl and Alessa more than make up for that. I'm super excited for SH2!
