Metroid Prime Remastered: Finally got around to finishing this one. The reason it took me so long was because at first I really couldn’t get into it. The only other Metroid game I played was Dread, which I loved. I felt this was much slower, more confusing and not as fun, and while I don’t love it as much as Dread, I gave the game another shot and I was able to get much more into it. This is a fantastic game. I love the atmosphere, the music, the vibe, the bosses, lots of it. I realized this isn’t meant to be action packed like Dread, it’s supposed to be a slower game to take in the world you are exploring of Talon IV and you’re supposed to feel less powerful in this unforgiving world. Once again I loved the sense of progression and how rewarding the game was. The bosses stood out to me the most, they’re all pretty great, especially the final boss. I loved learning about the world and the sense of power you gain through the game. Metroid Prime is a great game, I’m so glad I finally had the chance to experience it. My main flaw is that yes, it can be really confusing at times what you’re supposed to be doing or where to be going. Overall, this is a great game. 9/10
