anyway this game was honestly better than x1. better music, more unique bosses, dash right off the bat, what more could i ask for. that was until i got to the x hunter stages, which were just so unabashedly boring. music that grated on your ears, easy stages(at least the first 2 and 4, fuck stage 3). it’s telling they crammed all the mavericks into one tiny room in that fortress, there was like no time to breathe after you defeat the final regular stage. anyway, this rushed endgame really detracted from the game. the final boss was entirely underwhelming. i didn’t squeal like a child when i beat the final boss like i did in x1(took me a day or two to beat it), i didn’t sit in awe thinking, “damn, that’s a real good game” as the credits rolled like most of my other 9s, it just didn’t hit as hard.
8/10 i guess since 6/8 maverick themes are s tier also zero theme based as hell

Now have fun with x3 (incredibly mid)
i mean the 3rd x hunter stage theme i think iunno, no i’m not playing x3 i’m playing ghosthunter(peak 10/10 gamings)
