Cuts back on the combat (at least in terms of difficulty) coming from 2 but goes even wilder with the obtuse puzzle solutions and brings back some of the demonic platforming from the original.

This series is all over the place and it's hard to place one as the best in terms of how it feels to play. I'll always prefer the original for the more horror centric atmosphere but that comes with the even clunkier gameplay than the following games.

I'm glad to have finally gotten around to these, still. It's been long enough.
