Rocket: Robot on Wheels doesn't have as immediately charming an aesthetic or as gripping of a basic premise as Banjo-Kazooie or Super Mario 64, but it is somewhat a crime that it doesn't receive much acknowledgement these days. With a uniquely pleasant soundtrack and it being one of the first 3D games in general to heavily utilize a physics engine of sorts, it ends up being one of the better 3D platformers in an era flooded with a bunch of forgettable Mario 64/Banjo clones.

Sure, aesthetically it's not refined as nor are its levels as elegant as the Banjo duology or Super Mario 64, especially towards the end of the game where the level design really falls off, especially the final level being more about platforming than puzzle-solving like the rest of the game up to that point has been primarily focused around, but there is plenty of wonder and joy to be found for anybody willing to give it a chance.
