To paraphrase the lengthy voice memo I left to myself through hiccuping sobs from the ending, maybe the best game to completely land a 100% lining up of gameplay and narrative since Celeste. Overall everything was incredible; I was worried going in because the most intense response I'd heard going in was "I cried so much" and oftentimes people say that about incredibly heavy-handed and annoying pieces of media. HOWEVER this lands with such an intense and mundane impact that you kind of feel your face and realize you've been crying for the last hour just because of the profound honesty and truth of it.
