Enjoying this so far but I have to say why the fuck did Max and Mona start making out right after they escape NYPD? Like they've known each other for a grand total of 3 hours and exchanged words maybe a handful of times. Is Max just that desperate for pussy? I struggle to see the chemistry between them. The story is also confusing right out of the gate, the part about Gates' murder as the reason for setting everything off went in one ear and out the other.

He kinda is lmao. It's a by-numbers Action Hero falls for the Femme Fatale web, given punch by how the first game doubles down so much on the "the Death of the American Dream" theme; losing his spouse, daughter, house and honor. Mona is a bit lacking in that regard, but the whole plot is about Max anyways. It's very brutalistic and lacks chemistry almost in purpose, it's a romance gone wrong from the get go. But I get why someone wouldn't like it.

@MalditoMur96 I get that their relationship is unsustainable, but I still feel like there should've been a bit more development to it. There wasn't much dialogue to how Max felt about his want for Mona, they exchange words a handful of times, she runs off somewhere and then they're making out two cutscenes later. It felt lacking in a way. I think the reason it felt so flat was because there's little to no focus on how Mona felt.
