I played the original final fantasy 7 up to a certain point before finally playing this game. I loved the combat and the ability to see the upgrade in visuals and story from the OG game. However, I felt that the story did become a little confusing in moments since there were adjustments made which deviated from the original game. It didn’t impact my experience at all really because the gameplay and characters carried this game to the finish line in a great way. The ending left me wanting so much more and I was so happy to be able to go directly to rebirth!
