A game that completely missed the mark. Best parts of this game easily lied in Zack's interactions with Aerith, Cloud, and Sephiroth. Instead of fleshing out and further establishing those relationships which are present in FF7 they focus on this dogshit plot surrounding Geneis and Angeal... the worst thing to happen to FF7. This is not actually an FF7 game, instead someone's fan-fic hamfisted in the middle of an actually good story. It's just an embarrassment, but I am in the minority here. A lot of people just adore Zack and my biggest fear for Remake is that they will try to really make the Crisis Core stuff integrate into the actually good story of the original.
