I needed more Metroid after Dread! Even as a remake of the 1986 original, it still suffers from what I endearingly call "NES bullshit" but damn, you can clearly see why this game and series is so beloved. Short and to the point, extremely smooth gameplay that feels great, and engaging in all the right ways when it comes to exploration.

Holds up extremely well and is worth checking out, especially if you're new to the series!
