still up to my nose in this game (turns out it wasn't crpg fatigue and dragon age is just a bore) and planning to write a review and post a list of my favorite character builds/concepts later on... but i wanted to draw attention to this post about one of owlcat's artists dealing with cancer, should anyone with money i don't have come across this and feel compelled to help.

a preview of things i plan to write about: rp as a neutral good necromantic dhampir gish legend has been quite fulfilling.

somewhat hilariously, choosing to be a dhampir and going crossblooded sorcerer — and eventually dragon disciple — means i've made a character whose lineage suggests their vampiric ancestors were keen on fucking dragons (possibly polymorphed and humanoid), and along the line somewhere a fully human mate came along. (uhhh, pun?) that's a lot of powerful blood intermingling! this means i'm gaining abilities from 3 whole bloodlines as i level, benefiting from the powers of undeath and breathing fire, wielding necromancy with scaly golden wings, eventually becoming so awe-inspiring to my enemies that they're literally staggered by my presence as i obliterate them with scythe swings lol. i fuckin love this game.
