Air Combat

A 3-D polygonal arcade simulation created by Namco is 1993. This is a different game than the Air Combat game released by Namco for the Sony PlayStation in 1995.

The controls are a bit janky and the gameplay is quite short and basic. But it was a fun introduction to the Ace Combat series.
Ace Combat before they Aced the formula.
Air Combat 1993 is the spiritual predecessor to the Ace Combat franchise (But more precisely Air Combat on PS1). The game is pretty much what you'd expect out of an Aircraft combat game, you just shoot the other enemy planes obviously, the only issue is that this game aged like poop so the controls aren't really good, and emulating it won't do you any good as there it as there is a lot of graphical bugs and the lack of proper controls based on the arcade layout really doesn't help.
But on the good side, it looks pretty good for a 1993 game, it really feels like those Super FX games from the Super Nintendo like Starfox but other than the graphics being neat for the time, there's not really a reason for coming back to this title.
