Alone in the Dark is a great adventure for horror fans and fans of the Resident Evil series. A smaller focus on shooting and a greater focus on finding secrets and exploring the world than the competition means that Alone in the Dark has a peculiar slow pace that allows the feeling of unease to build. Despite this, it is impossible to get bored in the game, and often after turning it off I kept thinking what would happen after I found the next clue or what the solution to the next puzzle could be. Alone in the Dark is a safe and effective return to the series, and I hope that the creators will not abandon it and will prepare an even bigger title for us in the future, which will compete with the more action-oriented Resident Evil.

This was a very fun time. Great acting and fun puzzles but gameplay fell a little flat and story was very confusing.
O game tem ótimos gráficos, o level design é muito bom, adorei a mansão Derceto, história é boa e intrigante, porém pecaram na falta de terror, o game não te deixa com medo ou tenso em momento algum. O combate corpo a corpo é horrível, coisa de 15 anos atrás, a esquiva é ruim e o combate com armas também é fraco, os tiros quase não causam impacto. Os inimigos são ridículos, IA deles é pífia, são apenas 4 variações e apenas 2 chefes, que decepcionam. Enfim, esperava muito mais desse game, pra mim foi decepcionante.

A few small bugs and the gameplay is outdated, but otherwise a great game, with a nice, dense atmosphere and an exciting and well-written story.
It is a pretty solid reboot. Not a perfect one by any means, but I'm interested to see how Pieces Interactive could improve the gameplay in a potential sequel. Alone in the Dark's lovecraftian story might just be the best in the franchise, modern-y jazz soundtrack fits perfectly and serves the atmosphere of the game really well. Also didn't expect to see such a wide range of different locations. Hope there will be a sequel
Esse jogo é frustrante! mecânica muito datada, personagem extremamente duro, péssimo gunplay e inimigos patéticos, vários problemas de colisão de cenário, fora os problemas de stuttering no PC. Um retorno a Alone in The Dark deveria ser algo mais memorável.
Apesar de todos esses problemas eu vejo que se equipe que fez esse jogo se empenhar mais na questão de gameplay e enrendo o jogo pode ter uma sequência muito superior, pois vejo elementos interessantes aqui, como, puzzles bem maneiros uma boa ambientação, com aquela vibe de investigação legal ala LA NOIRE.
Sendo bem sincero, o jogo parece muito aqueles jogos genéricos da Unreal, porém com mais polimento e com nome de uma franquia grande. Mas o jogo é 1000x melhor de o Alone de (2008) e de o illumination, sem dúvidas.
