Basilisk is an unfinished RPG for the Super Nintendo, now mostly stable and playable through the very old SNESy+ Emulator. You play as a noble Knight from the old Kingdom, sent down to solve the famine.

Basilisk is easily one of the most creative horror games I have played in recent time. The idea of this being a old, abandoned ROM of a SNES game is really smart, and the way they implement the Emulator into this game is great.
You can select from about 5 different locations, with one segment that plays the game for you. And it feels JUST like an old game you would find in the mid-90's. The atmosphere is by far the best part of this game, and at points it can get extremely disturbing with how it is presented.
Overall: 8/10
