The game starts out very nicely in my opinion. It's pretty challenging and the combat is also satisfying. But as Blasphemous went on, I started to see many aspects that I disliked.
For starters, the game got super easy from the halfway point onwards. Seriously, I thought this was supposed to be Dark Souls level difficulty, but the game was kind of a breeze for me. Most deaths came from instant death traps, which felt more cheap than difficult for me.
Moreover, while I like the movement, the platforming is kinds eh, especially because of the aforementioned instant death traps.
Idk, I really wanted to enjoy this game more than I did because I love the theming and the aesthetics, but Blasphemous didn't really do it for me.
