Bomberman Quest offers a refreshingly unique twist on the classic Bomberman formula. Instead of arena-style battles, the game presents an action RPG adventure with towns, puzzles, and exploration. While the combat and exploration may feel a bit simple for veteran players, the charming presentation and change of pace make it a worthwhile experience for fans of the series looking for something different.

This is basically a Bomberman version of Link's Awakening but with more of a focus on the action and my god how did this fly under my radar. Not a long game, can be finished in about 6 hours and it's fun the whole way through. They managed to get a perfect balance between challenge and reward. Wish they made more like this.

A cute lil game! Gets a decent amount of mileage out of a fairly small map. Interesting choice to make every enemy a unique mini-boss battle, puts a bit more of a puzzle spin on the combat. Although, a lot of the enemies are weak to the ultimate strategy of chucking bombs until they die. I think the GBA sequel expands really well on basically everything present here

I love how many weird Bomberman games there are. I wish this ran smoother but “what if Zelda was only bombs?” is a good pitch.

Finally, the crossover event we’ve all been waiting for: Bomberman meets Neutopia

I can't tell if this is a Zelda parody or an actual shameless ripoff.

This game is pretty damn cool actually if anything I was just expecting some bad GBC game as how Gameboy spinoffs usually are but it's pretty original- it's actually not that original it's literally just Link's awakening but Bomberman, though it's not a bad thing it's just... way too similar visually.

Other than the shameless visual aspect the gameplay feels exactly how'd you play a Zelda game with the top-down view where you need to find item by defeating enemies and you use these items to resolve puzzle and all that Zelda jazz. The main thing that stands out in this game is the combat as it plays like a Bomberman game where you need to somewhat trap enemies between bombs early game but it quickly gets way easier with the more item you get.

It's pretty short and charming for what it is, if you are looking for a Zelda-like experience it's pretty damn good at it or just an overall decent GBC game.
