Bullet Heaven (full title: Epic Battle Fantasy 3.3: Bullet Heaven) is a scrolling top-down shooter game created by Matt Roszak in 2011. It is a spin-off of the Epic Battle Fantasy series, to which it owes many elements of its design, including the medals, shops, and characters. Most of the foes' designs originated from Epic Battle Fantasy 3 while some of them were previews of new foes to be introduced in Epic Battle Fantasy 4.

kind of evil to make me not able to increase my lives for an achievement but luckily i am Vaas's definition of insane except i make different results happen

This was THE game I played during middle school at the computer lab. There were people playing shit like coolmath and whatever on kongregate that was cool but I played the SHIT out of this game. As a kid, I didn't have the understanding to actually buy and download touhou stuff (and I still haven't gotten into the series), but this game gave me all the bullet hell shmup gameplay I was craving. It probably doesn't hold up all that well if I play it now, but I am totally rating this out of nostalgia alone so screw it. In another timeline this game was the catalyst to turn me into a beefy shmup gamer, but I couldn't find any other crazy bullet hells that were accessible to me back then so the desire to get into the genre kinda fizzled out. Maybe one day it will be reborn...
