why did my mother show me this at 6 years old

Deer Avenger 2: Deer in the City sure was funny when I was in elementary school, and even if nothing else, I'll give it credit for that.

Unlike the first Deer Avenger game, Deer Avenger 2 does not play it straight as a Deer Hunter copy.
Gameplay is fairly simple- point and shoot mouse controls. Absolutely serviceable and functional, but there is some lag between where you click and where the darts end up - so be ready to learn movement patterns and anticipate movement.

As far as the humor goes.... well. It's sure there, I guess. The late 90's through the mid-2000's were all about redneck humor. Not my cup of tea these days, but I can't fault Deer Avenger for being part of such a huge spike in a specific breed of comedy.
Insert joke about "breeding" with your siblings or whatever, here.
