Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt is an educational mode of the game Assassin's Creed Origins in which you can discover and explore the world free of conflict, or gameplay constraints. The Discovery Tour allows you to roam freely in the beautiful world of Ptolemaic Egypt. Learn more about its life, habits and customs by yourself, or let historians and Egyptologists guide you on one of the 75 available historical tours they have curated. It is available as a standalone or as part of Assassin's Creed: Origins.

I love being able to travel Egypt and learning about its history, so freaking cool
Strips the world of all enemies and quests letting you explore the map at your own leisure so that you may better appreciate all the little details that went into making Origins feel so alive. You can also partake in guided tours that will teach you all about ancient Egypt and even offer a few insights about the developers approach to making the main game.
An interesting experiment that I feel is very solid, but I am aware that the educational nature of it isn't going to appeal to everyone. There's really no reason to not give it a chance though as it will already be made available to you through one of the title’s free updates. Ubisoft was even nice enough to throw in a few easy to get trophies as well. Nothing too exciting overall, but it's a mode I would like to see return in future installments.
