DBZ: Goku Densetsu for the Nintendo DS is an all new DBZ experience unlike any other, combining strategic card-based gameplay and role playing elements to deliver a game that is easy to understand but hard to master. Players’ progression is determined through their use of the cards to evolve characters, strengthen moves and create new moves.

Remember those turn-based NES tie-in anime games all ove the place? Well, they thought "people definitely are nostalgic for that, let's make one on the DS on DBZ, covering from the Saiyan to Cell arc". You know, plots that everyone at this point know like the goddamn bible at moments (only other game that covers until there at the times was Budokai 1, which is kinda sad). I vividly remember the gameplay being horribly slow-paced and boring.
While the game has a charming 2D graphics, I can't really recommend this one even to the most hardcore JRPG fans. Dropped it at the android part and sold it more than a decade ago.
