It's a chill and fun time. I think the trailers hype up the horror aspect of this game a bit too much. It does have plenty moments of suspense and anxiety. But it is also way too easy to play it safe and never interact with any of the real horror elements of the game. Also, make sure you read all of the notes and logs you pick up. I didn't, so I still don't really understand what the story was.

Really cool game, the loop is satisfying, the art direction looks great, the areas are unique and diverse. The stoytelling has more to it than the surface, but dredging it up is satisfying, and it culminates to a crazy note. There's a lot of strange mystery and danger to these seas. I almost think it could've even gone further in that regard, but ultimately I enjoyed it pretty well.

That was very good. Very, very good. I am genuinely surprised by how good it turned out to be (I shouldn't be, it's lauded for a reason), but still. In watching previous playthroughs I never really got any of the story, so I didn't really know what the game was all about - still, I played it on recommendation alone and I am so glad I did.

In Dredge, you are a fisherman in a world that gets weird at night...something is wrong and if you don't get enough sleep or stay out too late or too far, bad things start happening. I don't want to say more than that, the story really comes together at the end of the game and everything leading up to it was a lot of fun.

I loved all the people you meet throughout the game, they are well fleshed out and bring the world to life. The gameplay never got boring, if anything it drove me to keep going. Fishing was fun, upgrading the ship was fun, exploring each new section was interesting and engaging and different enough to keep it interesting.

And the ending is spectacular. I'm not sure what I expected, but I wasn't expecting that. And yet, it fits so well and does such an amazing job of contextualizing the game. There are so many small moments hinting at this bigger reality, but the game hides it all in plain sight, which I appreciate.

Anyway, I recommend this game (if you couldn't tell). Definitely worth your time and attention if you're in to story based games with spectacular endings and interesting gameplay that doesn't get old.

It was really good, first ı love graphics of the game it's so good with environment. there are 5 specific locations and each of them completely different from each other. ı really don like storyline it was really strange and mind blowing. and biggest pros of the game is fear and tension, at the nights its become one of the most stressful games I ever played OAT.

Yeah, see, this is why I don't want to go fishing, DAD!!!

From the start I thought I was going to like this game so much more. The first journey from The Marrows to Gale Cliffs felt so tense, and like I'd need to be planning throughout. Unfortunately, as you play the game I started to lose that sense, and eventually was just boating around even without my boat being upgraded much. I loved the environments, and the art of the fish looked so good. Unfortunately as I learned more, it made it less tense, and that took it from great game to a good one.
