Tale of Two Wastelands is a total conversion project that seamlessly merges Fallout 3 and its DLC into Fallout: New Vegas, allowing both games to be played in a single playthrough. It upgrades Fallout 3's mechanics to those of FNV without compromising the feel and balance of the original.

I'm playing the Begin Again version. One of the best mods. But I'm afraid I'm going to get tired of playing it before I even get to New Vegas.

One of the best mods ever.
An amazing Fallout New Vegas mod. It fixes some of Fallout 3's balance and restores cut content, but I think the fixes for 3 weren't enough. (Operation Anchorage being available from the start, Unbalanced 3 DLC perks, Perk every level.) However, none of it was enough to make me stop playing. Try it out if you own both games and want something new.
