Frogger Beyond attempts to revitalize the classic arcade formula by expanding into a 3D platformer. While its core hopping gameplay remains intact, the level design is often frustrating, packed with poorly telegraphed hazards and finicky platforming segments. Beyond suffers from inconsistent difficulty, with some levels being overly simple and others feeling near impossible. Despite these frustrations, there's still a degree of charm to Frogger Beyond, especially for fans of the original, but it remains a mostly uneven experience.
