released on Oct 11, 2011

In Go Vacation players explore four paradise resorts hosted on Kawawii Island: Marine, City, Mountain, and Snow. Over 50 activities are available on the island including bungee jumping, ice fishing, scuba diving, miniature golf, tennis, off-road racing, and snowman building. In the bungee jumping mini-game, players are challenged by needing to brake as close to the ground as possible. The island can be explored at leisure and navigated by walking, rollerblading, or riding on an ATV.

shit was hard back in the day

I actually begged my mother to essentially buy this off of Redbox, I fucked with this game so much. I still think about the snowball mini game to this day, and hope that the re-release holds up.

I remember watching Dazran303 play this game when I was younger! Now, 12 years later, with a [redacted] Wii in hand, I decided I wanted to try it out, finally. And man, is it a comforting game! It's basically like Wii Sports Resort but 100 times bigger. I think WSR has a lot more charm, but maybe that's just my nostalgia speaking. This game does have a lot of charm as well, so do try it when you get the chance! I can very much see myself getting sucked into Kawawii's comforting and beautiful atmosphere and spending my time searching for all the treasure chests, I know that for sure!

An amazing comfort game with so much to discover.

Basically open world Wii Sports, but the actual activities play more like simple minigames in the style of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. Overall it's okay (and I think if I played it when I was younger i would've liked it more), but it's clear they focused on quantity more than on quality. I would have preferred fewer but more polished activities.

Banger, saved me from my snow days in high school
