"Godzilla, the King of the Monsters, first appeared in 1954. Scientists studied Godzilla and found that they could harness energy from the monster. Called “G-Energy,” this seemingly endless source of power was used to better the lives of all mankind. 60 years later, just when mankind’s memory of the beast faded, Godzilla appeared again. Godzilla destroyed at will, all in search of more G-Energy. Such irony, the same G-Energy which was used to better the people’s lives, also caused Godzilla to awaken. Can the G-Force, mankind’s last hope, stop Godzilla? What fate awaits Godzilla once he has consumed all of the G-Energy, and grown to his full potential? Bash your way through over 20 stages of mayhem. Explore Mission Mode, Diorama Mode, and King of Monsters Mode! Collect G-Energy in each stage to Power-Up your Godzilla up to 100 Meters tall! Your offensive and defensive prowess will increase with your size."

Let's get the obvious out of the way: this game was not made for everyone. It was made for Godzilla nerds like myself that geek out over the attention to detail and feeling like you're in the classic Showa and Heisei eras. While it might have some balancing issues and a story that leaves a lot to be desired, it's hard not having a good time playing this. And playing as Biollante, destroying buildings and wrecking kaiju, never gets old.

The game is a firm okay. If you like kaijus and want a mindless little game to play for a bit this is can be pretty entertaining. Sadly the game is super hard to come by. At the time of writing this it’s going for $300 on eBay. This game isn’t worth $30 let alone $300. Really wish this was available digitally for $10-$20 and it’d be something I’d fuck around with from time to time

This is as good as I thought it would be, and by good I mean horrible. The Graphics are bland, unimpressive, and don't feel like any efforts was made to make them appealing. The Gameplay allows you to destroy places, and fight other monsters as Godzilla well on your way to destroy generators, but the controls are awful, it's hard to attack small targets, and combo moves make you use normal moves you don't want to use, and even big targets are difficult because of them, levels can feel repetitive from the same objective of generator destroying, unlocking monsters for later by defeating is almost pointless, since if you already defeated the monster in this not made game, why would you want to do it again? and you can't battle your friends, unless your friend also has a copy of the remaster, same as you, not even the guide on the monsters is right, with 1 monster not even in the game. The Music is taken from the movie, so that's something. Godzilla: The Game is another casualty in the war against the licensed game terrorist group.

"Really cool game. i could just take a day and rampage
through as Godzilla to relax. I loved fighting giant monsters
and terrorizing the cities this game had to offer!
